Being able to live a long and healthy life is as much about your mental wellbeing, as it is about being free from physical illness.
However, most people will encounter a mental health problem at some point in their lives - whether througjh personal experience or that of a family member or friend.
A person’s whole life can be affected by a mental health condition. This is why we work not only to ensure that the right care services are in place for the people of Corby, but also to promote awareness of the issues around mental ill health.

Northamptonshire Mental Health Awareness Day
NHS Corby CCG supports Northamptonshire Mental Health Awareness Day. This is where primary and secondary schools join together to show their support of the Mental Health Stigma Programme – a plan designed to counter the negative impressions associated with having a mental health condition.
The day provides a great opportunity to raise awareness of mental health stigma among young people in lots of interesting, fun and inclusive ways.
